· Have a clean, ethical, effective track record. Unfortunately, it’s easy for smooth-talking consultants to take advantage of business owners in need of help. Doug and Polly White argue that a consultant should have “unimpeachable character. First and foremost, an effective consultant must be a person of the highest character. Questions to Ask
It’s a good idea to have an initial meeting and conduct an interview with your potential consultant. Below are a few questions you might want to ask:
