These conditions are weakening the heart and cause heart failure, coronary artery disease and heart attack. An ECG is a quick and painless test that records the electrical signals in the heart. After that echocardiogram, halter monitoring, exercise tests or stress tests, cardiac catheterization, heart magnetic resonance imaging scan and heart CT scan are some diagnosis for confirm heart diseases. A good diet, regular exercise and controlling cholesterol and blood pressure all help promote a strong heart and prevent heart disease. A normal Heart Beat Rate is between 50 to 100 beats per minute. If the rate is above 100 it is called tachycardia and below 60 is called bradycardia. An expert says an ideal resting heart beat rate is between 50 to 70 beats per minute or 72 beats per minute.
