I bought this just because...my old coffee maker worked but was not this "pretty"..
I LUV it!!! It became a present for Christmas..It does make GREAT coffee also. We ;like our coffee STRONG usually that also means bitter. NOT with this one it has a Bold setting that makes a nice smoooooth strong coffee..
YES would recommend it. (Ours came with one problem the back light for the clock does not work everything else does and you can see the time in daylight sooo. Just so attractive and works so good.. - By John Theobald

This is the best Coffeemaker I've ever had! When I read the reviews before purchasing, what really caught my eye was that the carafe doesn't leak when you pour from it. I always had to pour my coffee over the sink so as not to make a mess. This one is great, and I can pour my coffee over the counter now. I also LOVE the color. This is a great buy! - By Marjorie P. One of the nicest features of this automatic coffeemaker is the instantaneous and easily read water gauge! You can always see exactly how much water you have added even if pouring it in from a gallon jug (as we do).

Timer works great. All features are exactly as advertised.

Only gripe, and it's small, is that the designer created a plastic ridge inside the carafe so you never can drain it completely when washing. - By Rene Gnam
