May 26, 2016 -- There have been a few anti-Lgbt laws happening in the USA recently.
Lawmakers might want to take a look at these two charts from Out Now's global LGBT2030 research initiative.
They show that when they travel, a key factor for LGBT people is how welcome they will feel in the places they stay - and that LGBT people are now choosing to not visit places with anti-LGBT laws on the books.
With the global value of the LGBT travel market now exceeding USD$200billion spending each year, these numbers show that US States passing anti-LGBT laws stand to lose many millions of dollars for their local tourism industry.
