The FAMU men's basketball defeated division 2 Edward Waters 58-47 last night in the Al Lawson Center to improve to 2-6 on the season.
The Rattlers had two players score in double figures --- Jaylen Bates and Jordan Tillmon . Bates had 13 points and 12 Rebounds, while Tillmon tacked on 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. Chase Barrs added eight points, six rebounds, two steals and three blocks.
The Rattlers out-rebounded the Tigers 53-48, led by Bates' 12 boards. FAMU also pulled down 20 offensive rebounds and scored 14 second chance points.
