Joe Bullard, the iconic Voice of the FAMU Marching 100, will be inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame on Sunday, Oct. 2nd in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bullard’s Iconic Voice has been a staple on Tallahassee radio stations for over 30 years, from WTAL to WANM-AM to WHBX 96.1 FM. Bullard has become that authentic local voice that lifts the soul and keeps it real with his audience.
Bullard uses his own format, starting each show off with a prayer and praise each day before moving to the popular R&B tunes. While his program director might tell him, that southern soul doesn’t poll well in their research, Bullard follows his instincts to connect with his listeners.
As the voice of the Marching 100, Bullard, like the band, has been often imitated but never ever duplicated. He has no equal.
Now the world will know what we already knew, in radio there are only two words --- Joe Bullard!
