Kendra Greene leaves FAMU athletics for NCCU

Kendra Greene who served as the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) in FAMU Athletics has been named the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations and SWA at North Carolina Central University.   Greene was apart of the Rattler athletic staff for one year.

At FAMU "she oversaw all aspects of the athletic compliance office and served as a member of the department's senior leadership team with responsibility to all aspects of gender equity and student-athlete well-being", according to the release from NCCU. 

 "Greene oversaw the Rattlers sports medicine and strength & conditioning units and was a liaison with student health services and counseling services. Some of her other noteworthy duties and accomplishments at Florida A&M included being a sport supervisor, serving in the capacity of director of football operation with planning and facilitating team travel for the 2018 season, liaison for NCAA Accelerating Academic Success Program (AASP) and creation and implementation of a mandated athletics sub-committee," the NCCU release added.

A graduate of  Michigan State University, Greene has bounced around the HBCU circuit having worked at Delaware State for two years where she was Assoc. AD for Compliance, and  two years at Alabama State where she was Sr. Assoc. AD for Internal Operations.  She got her start at historically black the University of the District of Columbia where she spent five year serve as an academic advisor and later Assoc. AD for Academics and SWA.
