A Simply Perfect Wedding Day | Take an Evening Stroll

A Simply Perfect Wedding Day | Take an Evening Stroll

Welcome to Part Four, and the final installment, of our “A Simply Perfect Wedding Day” Series. Our last piece of advice is we want you to take an evening stroll on your wedding day. Yes, you heard us! Walk away from the celebration for a few moments to enjoy the reason for the celebration: each other.

Most receptions are three to four hours long, so there should be plenty of time to schedule a ten minute get away into the celebration. While this may seem daunting because every guest wants their share of time with the bride and groom, make sure it’s on the schedule you give the coordinator, DJ, maid of honor or best man, and they will make sure it happens. Think of it as your first walk together as husband and wife and life partners. You’d make time for that!

Not only do you need that time to circle back with each other (in case you forgot our golden rule from our third post in this series: Experience the Celebration Together), but it gives a much welcome breath of fresh air and pause from all the festivities in order to spend a bit of quiet time together. And, your photographer! What, you didn’t think that was coming?

Literally, taking 5-10 minutes to regroup, enjoy each other and get some spectacular sunset photos is a must for your evening schedule!
