New amendments to working visas as of the 19th November 2016

New amendments made to Subclass 457 Visas (Temporary Work skilled) visas granted after 19th November.

457 visa holders will now only be able to remain in Australia for 60 days following ceasing employment as opposed to the original 90 days which was granted on previous visas.

457 holders will be found in breach of the visa condition 8107 if they if they have not found a new sponsor for employment within the 60 days. This could lead to their visa being cancelled.

It’s important visa applicants use a Registered Migration Agent to understand the terms and conditions carefully when making decisions on their visa choices. At ISA Group we specialise in ensuring all our clients choose the right visa pathway for them in order to achieve their life goals.

For more information please email [email protected] or call 089346 8888 to speak to a registered migration agent.
