Adventure Van Expo

Where:  Homewood Mountain Resort Parking Lot
When:  Saturday, September 17th | 8am – 5pm
Head to the Adventure Van Expo to check out incredible van builds, open house vans, vans, and more vans! Are you in the market for adventure gear, a custom van, a camper, an off-road tent trailer or rooftop tent?  Talk to the experts about the products they represent all in one location. Find out about gear and designs you didn’t even know existed and buy accessories for your rig. More Information

Oktoberfest at Palisades Tahoe

Where:  The Village at Palisades Tahoe
When:  Saturday, September 17th | 12pm – 6pm
This annual event transforms the Village at Palisades Tahoe into the largest Bavarian playground in North Lake Tahoe, complete with authentic German beer and Bavarian music and dance, plus the ever-popular Oktoberfest Games and plenty of family fun. Authentic Brats, Pretzels, Swiss Slices and traditional European dessert/pastries to include apple strudel & nussgipfel, plus Root Beer Floats for the kids will be available for purchase. Tahoe City Oktoberfest

Where:  Gatekeepers Museum, 12pm – 5pm
When:  Saturday, September 24th
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Tahoe City, California will welcome back its annual lakeside Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 24th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Revelers can enjoy craft beers from some of the region’s best microbreweries, live music, and great food with traditional Bavarian-themed games along with a craft vendor village. The crowd will also select the winner of the “Best German-themed costume” contest. More Information

Family Farm Festival

Where: KidZone Museum
When: Saturday, September 24th | 10am – 2pm
Head to the KidZone for the Family Farm Festival and enjoy a petting zoo, bulb planting, arts and crafts, face painting, singalongs and free museum play! More Information

Spartan Ultra World Championship Weekend

Where:  Palisades Tahoe
When:  September 24th & 25th
Spartans are in for an intense race full of twists, turns, slopes, and stunning views. With a surface elevation of 6,224 feet and a max elevation upwards of 9,000 feet, your lungs and quads better be ready for a long haul of rocky running on the slopes. The notorious alpine swim promises a splash of fresh mountain water. And after the race, the village is an awesome place to eat, shop and celebrate in the festival area. More Information

Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop

Where: Downtown Truckee
When: October 1st | 12pm – 4pm
Since 2004, the Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop has been regarded as one of Truckee’s leading annual events. Head to Downtown Truckee for this annual event that brings nearly 1,000 local and visiting participants to sip wine and sample local food tastings while enjoying shopping in historic downtown Truckee. Where:  The Village at Squaw Valley
When:  October 8th & 9th | 11am – 5pm
Made in Tahoe celebrates all things LOCAL. Tahoe Donner Fall Festival

Where: Northwoods Clubhouse
When: Saturday, October 8th
Now in its 11th year, Fall Festival is Truckee’s premier family-friendly harvest celebration and one of Tahoe Donner’s largest events of the year! Fall Festival is a favorite for all ages, featuring a full day of seasonal-themed events and activities. As each year gets bigger and better, you can expect familiar favorites like a bounce house, face painting and a candy apple station in addition to special events like a climbing wall and slide, a costume contest and even a doggie dip adventure for your four-legged friends in Northwoods Pool!
