Stock-up on post-Thanksgiving and post-Christmas clearance! You might find food items, paper goods and more at super low prices as clearance gets marked down in increments. If you are baking, you may find candy, mixes and other items on sale that aren’t specific to any holiday.

I always save my receipts through Christmas to make sure I get the best deal. Some stores may also do price adjustments, check store policies to find out what they offer.

December is a month where there is a TON of entertaining and retailers want people to buy new, shiny products! They will be competing on everything from kitchen electronics and gadgets to place settings and textiles. You’ll see some super deals on products to spruce up your next party- now is the time to buy.

Winter is an off-season for home improvement so you’ll be seeing some low prices on tools and supplies. This is a great gift items for handy Dads or a great time to stock your own toolbox! Check for sales at big box stores and local retailers for low prices.

What Not to Buy

Even though it’s cold this month, you’ll want to wait to buy winter apparel. Those will be at their lowest prices in January or February. You’ll also want to wait on exercise equipment for the same reason.
