The Details
The IQ Panel 2 is a user friendly, 7” HD touchscreen that works to protect and control your business’ building functions. In a larger building, this panel now offers many of the common commercial features you expect like partitions, card access, and the implementation of PowerG, one of the industry’s best wireless security and life safety technologies, which enables you to cover a large facility without needing to run wire or conduit.
Included in the IQ Panel 2 are five communication radios, which work in collaboration to support wireless connectivity, security, and building control. These include:

- Security RF
- Image Sensor Radio
- Z-Wave Plus
PowerG
As mentioned above, the IQ Panel2 is equipped with PowerG technology. The PowerG is an incredibly powerful tool with many features that create a much more secure environment, including:
- 4x the range of most wireless security technology
- Military grade 2-way encryption
- Automatic signal adjustment to improve battery life and ensure reliable connection
- Interface circumvention
Combined, these tools help to create up to 4 partitions you can use to separate different areas of your building. When used in collaboration with separate 7” touchscreen keypads strategically located around your building, you are able to check in on cameras directly through the panel.
Interactive Services
Interactive services are available with the IQ Panel 2 through Alarm.com. Alarm.com is an exciting and valuable service that integrates your intrusion alarm system, access control, video surveillance, and building efficiencies into an easy to manage user interface for your desktop, mobile device or tablet. In collaboration with the IQ Panel 2, users can receive and review remote access and reporting features that allow them to assess trends within the building, allowing them to better manage the system and their business.
Additional Features
The IQ Panel 2 provides some great additional functionality that is well suited for a business setting including:
- Six-digit codes for extra security
- Disarm notifications and photos sent directly to your mobile device
- Open/close reports
- Live answer to see who is at specific doors before allowing access
- Smart thermostats
- Smart lighting
- Utilize HD touchscreen as a billboard to display logos, or special messages
- Built-in glass break detector
