But how much damage could the fire do if left undiscovered? It’s common knowledge that a fire that hasn’t been tended to is simply going to grow. It’ll burn up everything in its path until it doesn’t have anything left to burn. That doesn’t bode well for your business. Luckily, there are people out there who have dedicated their lives to responding to emergency calls. There’s no denying that firefighters are heroes, and in many cases they’re the only thing standing between your business and a fiery inferno, but they’re still human. Years of training, preparation, and practice have allowed them to get their assembly and set-up procedures down to a science, but they’re only going to start those processes as soon as they’ve been made aware that an incident is occurring.

From here on out, the time it takes for the fire department to put out the blaze in your building is out of our hands. They may be faster at assembling their gear, travelling to the site of the incident, and setting up their equipment than we’ll ever be, but there’s nothing we can do to help them speed that process along after we’ve alerted them of the fire.
