Situated within Glasgow’s Merchant City, Glasgow Music Studios is a complex of three top-rated recording studios. We were recognised as the ‘Best Recording Studio’ back in 2012 by the Scottish New Music Awards. So, you can be sure that’ll we’ll give you a fantastic service. Merchant City is located in the heart of the city of Glasgow, so it is a very convenient location. This is especially true if you’re in a band with members spread across the country. However, while our convenient location is a pretty great selling point, we don’t like to think of it as our main one. We know that we have a fantastic professional recording studio in Glasgow that produces a stunning product every time.

We have three different sized recording studios. This means we accommodate anyone; whether you are a solo artist or wanting to record an entire orchestra. We’re happy to record literally any style of music. Regardless of what genre you want us to record, we’ll provide you with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which will allow you to get the best out of your recording session with us. Our studios are kitted out with the crème de la crème of record equipment. Our custom-made live rooms are tuned to offer the best sound for any recording. You won’t get a better service for a better price.

However, we don’t just welcome ‘serious’ musicians to our recording studios. We offer a range of services. While we’re delighted to offer professional recordings, production work and mastering; that’s not all we do. We’ll also run fantastic children’s birthday parties by offering them a studio experience. Similarly, we offer a corporate event recording experience or we’re happy to just help you produce a fun CD. Whatever you’re wanting to record, we’re ecstatic to help you with.

In general, our standard rate for both recording and mixing is £38 per hour, although we do also offer packages. A half day goes for £180 and a full day package costs £300.
