Join us in supporting Translators without Borders this summer

Translators without Borders is turning 10 this year! They were first incorporated as a U.S. nonprofit following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, and have grown tremendously since. They have used the combined support of their global community of linguists, Language experts, and donors, to a significant change in the lives of many people who speak marginalized languages.

Global Lingo has supported the amazing work for TWB for several years. As they reach this milestone anniversary we are again supporting them with a fundraising effort.

It would be great if you could help them, by starting your own fundraiser. The funds raised can make a huge difference to the communities that TWB works with.

At the bottom of this page, you’ll find a link to a really helpful PDF that gives you creative ideas for an interactive fundraiser, tips for running it successfully, and details of how you can raise funds for TWB online.

Statement from Translators without Borders.

Given that there are 4 billion people deprived of fair information access, there’s a lot to be done. But, we’re motivated, driven, and determined to tackle this challenge. Knowing there are so many who share our vision to help people get vital information, and be heard, whatever language they speak, we know we can achieve great things. And most importantly, we are ready.

Of course, our projects wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our community, our partners, sponsors and supporters. For that, we are deeply grateful.

If you also want to support our growth, there wouldn’t be a better opportunity to do so than for our anniversary.
