In my readings, I came across different suggestions, tips, and guidelines on a gazillion of topics -- particularly, on the following: how to maximize your earning potential online, how to write better Squidoo lenses, what free tools to use, and how to change the appearance of my blog.
I already know some of these things, but I didn't see their importance until now.
So, yes, I'm very busy unlearning outdated knowledge and voraciously reading blogs of top webmasters to update what I know.

I've been using Blogger for more than three years now. I heard about Wordpress before, but since I wasn't interested in seriously earning money at the time, I didn't bother playing with the widgets. Of course, this is a mistake. But at least, I was able to compare both platforms.

But nobody told me that Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org are two different sites!
I bought two domains off Wordpress.com, but I had to cancel because moments after the purchase, I found out that I couldn't customize my template unless I pay $30. That's on top of an $18-upgrade to get my own domain name from Wordpress.com.

I am not a "social" person. I loathe spending time on Facebook prying on other people's business, but if I want to attract a solid following for my blog, I have to be social.
So I joined Google+, set up a Facebook page for my site, and created different accounts with Twitter, LinkedIn, Scribd, Redgage, and several others.
Now my next step is to build strong relationships.

What good is quality content if nobody visits your site and reads your posts? In other words, you can't expect your site to earn money by relying on accidental visitors who would re-post your posts in hopes that they will eventually go viral.

I spent two days working on my site's content by organizing everything, editing what needs to be edited, proofreading grammar errors, and removing unnecessary posts. Currently, I'm working on driving traffic to my blog.
