Secondly, when you have a high score as a lone applicant your profile is given the scores in a different manner. Based on having a spouse /partner accompanying, and on their profile, you are likely to boost your score when you report them as not-accompanying you.
Thirdly, when your spouse is a strong candidate you must try to calculate the points your spouse is likely to receive on being the main applicant, with (or without) your company with them.
