Indian Travelers visiting Australia for leisure has increased by 18 percent in the year 2015. The drastic increase of the travelers to Australia is compelling the Australia to take more measures to increase facilities to the Indian visitors.

2, 33,100 Indian Tourists Visited Australia in 2015, whereas it was 197 000 travelers visited Australia in 2014, this details were revealed by the Tourism Australia.

With the sudden rise of tourists from India, now Australia is planning to set the target of 250 000 travelers annually. Out of the total travelers moving to Australia, 1, 58, 500 of them travel for leisure, 26,400 for business, and the remaining travel for various reasons such as education on short term basis and other purposes.

India is tenth largest sender of Travelers to Australia. Australia tourist destinations are amazing and have always attracted travelers from different corners of the world. Beaches, wild life, and the Great Barrier Reef have mostly attracted tourists across the world.
