A mobile application launched by the Chief Electoral Officer of the State will help them locate booths and collect information about candidates.
Voters in Kerala, which is going to the polls on May 16, will have an easier option to search the Electoral Rolls, locate a polling station, collect information about candidates and file complaints about violation of the model code of conduct.

e-Voter, developed by the Kerala State IT Mission, can be downloaded from the Google Play store and installed in Android phones.
The app can be used to search the Electoral rolls by keying in the voter ID card number and name of the district or by providing the name and house number. e-Voter helps locate a polling station on Google Maps.
The user can first search his name on the electoral rolls and then click the locate button in the app to get the direction of the booth. Users also have the option to download the details of any candidates.
