For the last 12 years, this woman has been married to her Husband, and six years ago, they became very close with one of her husband’s female friends from high school and her boyfriend.

She and her husband did everything with this couple, spending a lot of time with them, and she became particularly close with this girl. She truly considers her to be her best friend.

Lately, she and her husband have grown distant and aren’t feeling as connected in their marriage. Life is stressful for them right now, and it’s been really hard for them to adjust to welcoming their second child.

However, she had a feeling in her gut that her husband was cheating on her, and then she came across a conversation her husband was having with her best friend.

“Turns out they had been having an emotional affair,” she explained. “I was disgusted at the conversation.”

“They were talking [badly] about me behind my back, making fun of my personal issues that I was insecure about and confided in both of them to vent to, calling each other babe…etc., joking about planning a weekend away, all while still talking casually about our plans to hangout all together.”

“The worst part. She was 8 months pregnant with her boyfriend. But then, to top things off…her brother is dating my sister. So my sister’s sister-in-law had an affair with her sister’s husband.”

She says that her husband’s cheating has ruined everyone’s lives and caused a lot of issues among them all.

She feels incredibly betrayed by her husband, but having her best friend stab her in the back hurts even worse.

She can almost be sympathetic to her husband having a moment of weakness in light of getting some attention from her best friend, though she doesn’t see how her best friend could do what she did.

She never expected her best friend to do something like this to her, and the things her best friend said in the conversations with her husband were horrifying.

“My husband has done everything to try and repair our family,” she said. “He has taken accountability and understands he has inner healing to do with himself.”

“She, unfortunately, cannot take accountability; she only cares about herself. She is completely out of our lives now, unfortunately my sister still has to see her from time to time.”

“My husband and I are trying to work on things as I know what he did was wrong and no excuse, but I can admit I had been neglectful emotionally due to my own pain, and we lost connection. As for my ex-friend, I can’t seem to get past hating her. How entitled she is about the whole thing makes me want to get revenge even though I know that is not the right thing to do.”
