His Fiancée Wears Plastic Tiaras And Demands That He Treat Her Like A Princess

This 35-year-old guy has spent a year and a half with his 38-year-old fiancée, and he proposed to her not too long ago.

His fiancée has always spoken in a kid-like and adorable way, but ever since he gave her a ring, the ways she talks has become extremely bothersome.

“She has said (jokingly) in front of my friends and parents that she “wants to be treated like a princess 24/7” and says things after that sometimes along the lines of “and I will never think of myself lower than that ever again,” he explained.

“Which is fine; I love her, so I treat her very well and respectfully like any woman should be treated.”

“But now that this proposal has happened and I’m looking at kids/spending the rest of my life with her and in doing that I’m also starting to think that hey, she is an adult.”

His fiancée is not a princess, and he hates having to bow down to her every whim. He also hates that when they disagree about things, she never sees his side and instead cries and tries to guilt him into making her feel a certain way.

The arguments they get into are always about small things, and not worth crying about, yet she cries constantly.

If that’s not bad enough, his fiancée has adopted a complete diva kind of mentality that isn’t fair or nice.

She’s refusing to work and expects to be catered to, as she says it’s a “man’s job” to treat her like royalty.

It’s not adorable when she says these things; it comes across as entitled and demanding to him.

“Add onto the fact she’s now wearing Plastic Tiaras and fluffy Ugg boots all the time now is making it really hard to see myself spending the rest of my life with her,” he said.

“Keep in mind this just started happening after she caught up with her old friends, who are very much the same. I’m lost, guys; how can I put this across to her that she’s a…250 or so pound 38-year-old woman and not a child anymore.”

“Maybe I’m being out of line, but I swear this isn’t how it’s supposed to be. Saying it’s the man’s job to do these cliche things, but if I ever dared suggest to her to do some cleaning/cooking around the house, then I’m somehow a…pig.”

What advice do you have for him?
