Last spring, while this 28-year-old woman was Pregnant with her son, her 31-year-old Husband ended up cheating on her.

He told her as soon as it happened, and he promised that he regretted the entire thing. In the aftermath of her husband’s cheating, he has bent over backward to make it all up to her.

Her husband is a wonderful dad and does everything he can to help her care for their son.

“I already have forgiven him for the cheating, and we currently still live together,” she explained. “I honestly don’t care about the one-night affair anymore, but I feel like our relationship is sometimes over, no matter what he does or says.”

“He has apologized multiple times and tells me that he loves me. We go to couples therapy, and I see my own therapist.”

“I agreed while pregnant to work and repair our relationship, but ever since our son was born 4 months ago, all my time is spent with him.”

After she allowed her husband to move back into their home, they really haven’t discussed their marriage or done much together.

They also currently sleep in different bedrooms and have since her husband moved back. Lately, her husband has attempted to show her more affection, such as trying to snuggle with her or kiss her, but it makes her cringe.

Every single time he does try to be affectionate, all she can think of is him cheating on her, and it makes her uneasy to be close to him.

“I know that I still love him and want to be with him, but I feel no attraction to him anymore,” she said.

Her husband has asked to move back into their bedroom together, and he wants to keep working on their relationship.

But she’s not so positive that she’s ready to do all of this. She doesn’t want to be the reason their family breaks apart, especially since he’s an excellent dad, but she doesn’t think she can go back to viewing her husband as her husband. She just sees him as a co-parent at this rate.

“How do I talk to him about this?” she wondered. “I don’t want a divorce, but I also can’t keep living like this. How do I repair our relationship?”
