This 33-year-old man and his Wife, also 33, had a baby 10 months ago.

Last year, during his wife’s pregnancy, she was extremely ill.

The smell of food made her feel nauseated, so he had to spend a lot of money eating at restaurants.

Since he was the only one working and his wife didn’t have a job, going out to eat all the time was quite costly.

Plus, he didn’t enjoy going to restaurants much in the first place, but he didn’t have much of a choice. He didn’t want to make his wife sicker by cooking at home, even though he liked making food himself much better.

Unfortunately, he and his wife don’t live in a city with a ton of options for restaurants. The main restaurants in their hometown are Panda Express, Olive Garden, and Chipotle.

Also, his wife is a bit messy and disorganized.

During her pregnancy, she would rest on the couch and then move to the bedroom and never cleaned up after herself.

From Monday through Friday, he worked from about 5:30 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and after coming home, he would have to clean up after his wife and put everything back where it was supposed to be.

For the entire nine months of his wife’s pregnancy, he felt like a maid.

While she was pregnant, she didn’t eat much, she hardly drank water, and she barely walked anywhere besides room their bedroom to the couch and back again, twice per day.

Nine times during his wife’s pregnancy, he had to leave his military job to go to the hospital because his wife had called 911 after fainting and regaining consciousness.

During these fainting spells, his wife would get incredibly dizzy and couldn’t move. Understandably, she was concerned for her health, as well as the baby’s, and she didn’t want anything to happen to either of them.

“The biggest thing for me was that 20 days before she gave birth, she had eclampsia (her blood pressure shot up, and she started having seizures). She was in a coma for four days, and I honestly thought she had died. I only found out because she had her first seizure while we were lying in bed, and her right arm hit me in the face and almost broke my nose,” he said.

At the hospital, his wife was in horrific pain, and the doctors had to have her labor induced because she had a brain bleed.

Obviously, watching her go through this was traumatizing for him.

Since the birth of their daughter, he and his wife decided that while he was working, he would call her each hour to see how everything was going with her and the baby.

Last month, he called his wife six different times while he was still at work, and she never answered. He was terrified that something horrible had happened to her, possibly that she had died, and he sped home, driving 110 mph on the highway to get to his wife as fast as he could.

Once he arrived home, he saw that his wife was asleep with the baby and that she had left her phone in the bedroom, so she didn’t hear him calling her.

Throughout their marriage, he has never been happy with the lack of intimacy in their marriage.

Two years into being married, they were only intimate eight times.

“The week she got pregnant, we were intimate 11 times because she wanted to maximize the chances of getting pregnant,” he explained.

His wife found out she was pregnant in February 2022, and from then until now, they have been intimate on six occasions.

In his view, his wife uses him and only wants intimacy as a means for getting pregnant and nothing more. He doesn’t want to feel obligated to be intimate just so that she can get pregnant again.

When his wife brought up the idea of having another baby, he rejected this plan and expressed his feelings to her.

“She told me I’m a jerk and that I’m ungrateful that she even considered having a kid with me,” he shared.

Then, his wife said that he should be appreciative of the opportunity to have a family and stop whining.

After the argument, she packed a bag and went to stay with her parents in Florida so that she could have some space from him and think things over.
