If you have the means, celebrating your relationship and savoring the last moments before taking the next step by traveling to your dream destination is a perfect way to set up your proposal. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be proposed to on a romantic vacation? It’s a surefire way to give your partner the trip of a lifetime.

If you love writing, specifically writing about your past or favorite memories, type out your love story and journey together like a personal memoir. Then, in the end, you can write about what you see for your future and type out the question, “Will you marry me?” so that once your partner is finished reading, they can look down and see you on one knee. How cute is that?

Then, not only will you both be engaged, but your partner will also be left with a super sweet, typed-out story.

Write a love letter.

If writing out your entire love story sounds like a lot of pressure, then just write them a love letter. This is an especially great option for people who don’t like being put on the spot. Have you ever feared practicing what you want to say when you propose, then getting on one knee and becoming so nervous that your mind goes blank and you can hardly speak?

If you write down everything you want to say, then pop the question once your partner is done reading it, you can properly let them know how much they mean to you. I mean, everyone loves a love letter!

Go on a romantic road trip.

If there’s an area you and your partner love to drive around in, consider taking them out on a fun little road trip, pulling over into one of your favorite places, and asking them to marry you! I love driving around with people, as it’s a very simple and intimate way to share memories with your loved ones and allows you to reflect on things while taking in a view. 

By the time you pull back into your driveway, you’ll have a fiance.
