This 24-year-old woman and her sister, Lilly, 22, have never had a close bond due to multiple reasons.

In her opinion, Lilly wasn’t someone who was easy to be around, so they were never close and had a fairly strained relationship.

“Growing up, she was very resentful and bitter. Between the two of us, I was the one who was more conventionally attractive, and I was more outgoing than she was, which always made me more popular in high school and college, especially with guys, and she’s always hated me for it,” she said.

Plus, Lilly apparently acts superior because she chooses not to wear makeup or dress in a style that’s viewed as “girly.”

Even though Lilly didn’t put much time into how she looked and often wore clothes that didn’t accentuate her shape and never wore makeup, she would get upset when she didn’t receive male attention. Lilly would then get jealous when she was noticed by men instead of her.

Unfortunately, Lilly also often made negative comments about her clothes and critiqued her actions, often tearing her down for whom she had relationships with.

This past May, Lilly graduated from college and obtained a good job.

However, Lilly asked her if she could temporarily move in with her and her Husband so that she could save up some money and not have as many bills to worry about before she was in a better financial position to afford to rent an apartment.

She accepted her sister’s request, but she quickly realized that she’d made a mistake.

“She’s developed a crush on my husband and can’t stop trying to get attention. Before, Lilly would wear sweats around the house, never put on makeup, and would never show her body. Now that she’s around my husband, she’s done a complete 180–she’s sleeping in spicy clothing and will wear her skimpy outfits downstairs in front of him and try to get his attention,” she explained.

Plus, Lilly has been wearing makeup while she’s chilling out at the house, which she obviously never did before. Since Lilly didn’t have any plans to leave the house, it was clear that she was only wearing makeup because she was trying to entice her husband.

Since Lilly moved in, she constantly hangs out in the same room as her husband, attempts to bond with him, and tries to interrupt them when she and her husband are trying to hang out just the two of them.

Despite how annoying this has been, she isn’t concerned that her husband would develop a crush on her sister, and she doesn’t believe that her sister is the type of woman her husband would ever be interested in.

Throughout Lilly’s time in her house, she has made it obvious with her actions that she’s trying to look as attractive as she can to see if her husband would be interested in her instead.

She has tried talking to her sister a couple of times about her concerns, but her sister has just brushed her aside and acted like she isn’t doing anything.

“Last week, we had a party where a bunch of our friends came over to watch football, and Lilly was there. Now, in the past, Lilly would have probably worn some kind of baggy sports t-shirt (because she just has to show that she’s ‘not like other girls’), but she ended up coming downstairs in a tiny red dress that showed so much skin, and a face full of makeup,” she shared.

She thought that Lilly looked outrageous, and she was humiliated that Lilly came downstairs looking like that since it was so evident that Lilly did it to look good for her husband.

Then, she heard one of their friends who was at the get-together, Mary, complimenting Lilly on how awesome she thought she looked.

This bothered her so much that he interrupted Mary to tell Lilly that the dress she was wearing was over-the-top, adding that there was no point in her even dressing up like that since there weren’t any men at this get-together that would be romantically interested in her anyway.

At the time that she said this, no one else was in the room or witnessed what happened. She clarified that she didn’t humiliate in front of their entire group of friends.

In her view, her statement was accurate, considering the fact that the majority of the men at the get-together were already married, including her husband.

Without a word, Lilly raced upstairs and threw a fit, like she usually does when others have called her a “pick-me girl” in the past.

After Lilly went upstairs, Mary told her that she was a jerk for what she said to Lilly.

She responded, telling Mary that she didn’t embarrass Lilly in front of a ton of people, and all she was doing was telling Lilly that she was way too overdressed to watch a football game. Continuing, she informed Mary of how Lilly has been acting around her husband lately, explaining that she believed what she told Lilly was something she needed to hear.

However, Mary didn’t change her view on the situation. She doubled down on calling her a jerk, and she ended up telling some of their friend group about all the chaos. In her view, Mary twisted the story.

Now, Lilly is still furious with how she treated her, not coming downstairs except when she leaves the house for work.
