This 26-year-old girl is married to her Husband, who is 28, and on Friday evening, she went with her husband to a fancy dinner that his company put together.

The dinner was supposed to be a celebration for his husband and the rest of his team for having a great year, so all eyes really were on her husband that night.

She ended up buying a new white-colored Dress for the occasion, and when she slipped it on, her husband remarked that it was pretty much see-through and “left nothing to the imagination.”

She peered into her mirror and thought her husband was really just blowing it out of proportion and responded that it really wasn’t as bad as he said it was.

She knew you could kind of see the outline of what she was wearing underneath her dress, but that didn’t bother her.

“We went back and forth a bit — I didn’t have any other dresses that fit me, as I recently gained a bit of weight and haven’t had a need to dress formally; he said he’d rather me dress more casually than wear that,” she explained.

They kept kind of arguing about her dress, but eventually, her husband simply gave up and told her to wear that dress.

So she did, and when they arrived at dinner, she was able to meet her husband’s bosses and coworkers, and the night was great.

Later on, her husband asked to look at some photos that had been taken of them that evening, as he wanted to post about the event on social media.

“I saw the pictures of me, and my jaw dropped — the flash from the camera, and the lighting in general, made my outfit way more revealing than it looked in the mirror at home,” she said.

“You can see every roll, every freckle, it leaves almost nothing to the imagination. I was completely embarrassed and told my husband not to post them.”

Every photo from that night includes her, so it’s not like her husband can just post a picture of himself alone to commemorate the dinner.

She then wanted to know if her husband could photoshop her dress so it wouldn’t be so bad, but he told her he didn’t know how to go about doing that.

They kept bickering about the photos, and her husband caved in and said he wouldn’t post any on social media, but he did want to text his mom and dad the pictures. She thinks there is not one photo that makes her look good, and she does seem to basically be not wearing clothes in any of them.

“He said, since his coworkers and bosses saw me like that, he should at least be able to show his parents as well,” she continued.

“I feel like, since my husband agreed that the dress was too revealing, he should be understanding that I don’t want him sharing pictures of it with family. His coworkers and bosses are one thing, I never have to see them again. But family is family.”

“He thinks that I’m not being fair. In his words, I insisted on wearing the dress, and now I’m preventing his family from seeing pictures because of it. It’s now Sunday morning, and he’s still not giving in. I want to just forget about the whole thing and move on, he seems to really want to share pictures of the night. I’m not sure what to do, whether I should give up and tell him to send it anyway to put it behind us or whether I should stand up for myself.”
