22 Gifts That Dads and Grads Will Love + Win the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge from AT&T

All those years of hard work are about to pay off — for the grads putting in the long hours with the books and the dads doing what they can to make sure those kids can become grads. Besides the love we know you’re going to give those deserving dads and grads anyway, go ahead and sweeten the pot a little with a little something they’ll be able to good use this summer.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (AT&T)

This year’s best smartphone is sure to be a winner this Father’s Day. And common, you know that dad deserves it. You can pick the Galaxy S7 Edge up from AT&T for $794.99, or you can win one here.

Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle Lego Set

You’re never too old for Star Wars or a good Lego set, so it really doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about dads or grads here. We like Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle, especially as a gentle reminder from parents to grads about how they’d like them not to turn out. You can get this set straight from Lego for $120, but chances are you’ll be able to find it for cheaper on Amazon.

2014 INTRINSIC Cabernet Sauvignon

INTRINSIC is a Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington’s Columbia Valley that is super smooth, yet also complex, and full of leather and cherry aromas, subtle mineral note. The Lady in Red art on its label is also wicked cool. You can pick a bottle up for dad for just $22.

Seagate Backup Plus Portable Drives

Everyone’s human. Besides, trusting the cloud isn’t always the best idea. Make sure their data is backed up and ready to go with a Backup Plus external hard drive from Seagate. They have a range of models, from slim, pocket-friendly drives to spacious drives with an emphasis on speed. Capacities from 500 GB to 4 TB are available, with prices ranging from $50 to $180 on Seagate or Amazon.

The Walnut Laptop Stand

A paragon of good design in the laptop world deserves a stand just as special. Grovemade has always had a way with wood, and that rings truer than ever with their Walnut Laptop Stand, a gracefully curving piece of tech furniture that holds up a MacBook at a comfortable viewing and typing height. This stand is available from Grovemade for $140.

ROAM Ropes Headphones

A brain child of one of the creators of Beats, ROAM Ropes headphones are one of the most uniquely designed wireless headphones out there. That is because they are designed to wear around your neck like jewelry. But it’s not just their design that are unique, they also have an accompanying app that lets you tune the audio to your own personal taste and preferences. ROAM Ropes retail for $199.

Citizen Eco-Drive TI+IP Watch

Sometimes, the smart choice is a watch that will actually last. This classic Citizen watch has a lightweight, scratch-resistant Super Titanium case and link band along with a simple, elegant deep blue watch face. It’s one of our pricier choices at $375, but as usual, you can find it for much cheaper on Amazon.

Concepter iblazr 2

Taking pictures in low-light conditions is the bane of any smartphone photographer’s existence. Help your grad (or dad!) get their selfie game up with the Concepter iblazr 2, a powerful external flash that is small enough to be mounted on most smartphones. Thanks to a simple Bluetooth connection, it can be used with Android or iOS devices alike. You can get the iblazr 2 from Concepter or Amazon for $60.

Monster ClarityHD Earbuds

Here’s a win-win for dads and grads alike. They’ll get a tougher-than-average pair of Bluetooth wireless earbuds that should be able to take some punishment, and you won’t have to spend more than $100. Monster ClarityHD earbuds can be found for $80 through Monster or as low as $37 on Amazon.

Amiibo

Amiibo! Can’t go wrong with any of Nintendo’s massively popular interactive figurines for dads and grads alike. Of course, we’re partial to this adorable (and larger-than-usual) Mega Yarn Yoshi from Yoshi’s Woolly World. Nintendo doesn’t make it easy to collect these guys, though, so you’ll have to poke around Toys ‘R’ Us or other stores and see what you can find.

Phiaton MS 300 BA

No one rocks affordable audio like Phiaton. Their MS 300 BA in-ear headphones are so good, there’s no need to tell dad or grad that you scooped them up for just $100. These also happen to be one of our favorite pairs of in-ear headphones because they sound great and are super comfortable – even for those with smaller ears. Yet, somehow, they managed to get hybrid dual drivers and low frequency pass filters in there at that price. You can get a pair on Amazon.

Lifecard

At .15 inches thick, this credit card-shaped external battery pack is about as thin as it gets. The 1,500 mAh capacity is pretty small as a result, and will probably only get newer flagship phones back up to about 50 percent, but in case dads or grads ever need emergency power, they could do worse. You can find Lifecard on Amazon for $60, available with both Lightning and Micro USB connectors.

Satechi Bluetooth Wireless Gamepad

Got someone who’s starting to delve into virtual reality? If they have a smartphone-powered headset, they’ll need a Bluetooth gamepad to get the most out of it. Satechi makes a pretty nice one, and you can get it from them or Amazon for $40.

TCL Roku 4k TV

There are lots of 4K smart TVs out there, but TCL’s latest ROKU TV’s bring together the best of both worlds – 4K visuals and the awesomely intuitive ROKU interface with its vast library of apps. Did we mention how affordable these TVs are? The 55″ 55US5800 model retails for just $549.

Blazing Team Yo-Yos

Everyone can enjoy a yo-yo. It’s just like the Lego thing we were talking about earlier! These yo-yos from Hasbro are decorated with characters from Blazing Team, a cartoon that I think involves yo-yos and sounds pretty rad. The yo-yo sets range from $15 to $20, and are a good reminder that no matter how old you get, there’s no growing up all the way.

Stockpile

Now that they’re (maybe?) going to be out there on their own, make sure your grad gets a good start on personal finances. Let the Roth IRAs, the ETFs, and the mutual funds come later — start simple with a gift card from Stockpile, which entitles them to a dollar amount of stock from a certain company, with fractional shares allowed. Better yet, their brokerage allows for unlimited free trades.

iRig Mic Lav

This tiny mic records terrific audio, and works simply using a connection to a smartphone using the 3.5 mm port and a companion app. It’s perfect for grads looking to start their careers in journalism, film, or streaming themselves playing video games. You can get one on Amazon for $50.

Lutron Caséta Wireless

Want to make home life way easier under the guise of giving dad new toys to play with? Caséta Wireless is a great smart home lighting system from Lutron, and it’s one that can work with existing lighting systems. Installation isn’t too tough, and in the end, you’ll be able to control your home’s lights from an app, even when you’re away.

Boka

It’s the perfect gift to remind your grad that you will never, ever stop being a parent. Boka is an oral care subscription that sends out fresh toothbrushes every three months, because you know your grad isn’t going to remember to do it. They can also send along toothpaste, floss, and other dental care goodies.

Generation Tux

Let’s level, grads are in no financial place to buy themselves a suit. If they have a formal reception coming up for graduation, send them there looking sharp with Generation Tux. Started by George Zimmer of Men’s Wearhouse fame, Generation Tux allows you to build a full tuxedo, then rent it for under $100.

Invisalign

Send grads out into the world with a boost of confidence, plus bask in the love of not convincing them to get braces. Invisalign gets slightly crooked teeth straightened out with a clear plastic mold most will never notice. All the gain, none of the metal, and most importantly none of the metal poking at their inner cheeks.

Old Spice Dirt Destroyer Pure Sport Body Wash

Here’s your uncomfortable hint gift of the list. If you appreciate dad’s hard work, but could do without the olfactory aftermath, get him a bottle of Old Spice Dirt Destroyer Pure Sport Body Wash. Everyone wins!
