Well, calling it hot might be selling it short. We might be all the way to spicy with one Diane Nguyen’s homemade wedding dress, beautifully crafted out of only Taco Bell wrappers. It’s like Lady Gaga’s meat dress, but non-perishable.

The entry from engaged couple Diane Nguyen and Nick Ward takes the tostada. It’s a shot of them at a Taco Bell, looking in love, with Diane wearing what is in all seriousness a magnificent wedding dress made completely out of burrito wrappers. Apparently, she used only unused wrappers, so the authentic burrito smell would be missing. We’re also really curious about sourcing — where does one get so many unused Taco Bell wrappers? They’ve either got someone on the inside, or Jo-Ann has changed a lot since the last time I’ve been.

Clearly, Diane is on fire. Not only has she locked down this contest and a soon-to-be husband, she managed to lock down the dianesaurusrex handle on Instagram. I guarantee at least three or four other Dianes have tried to get that name and had to think of another pun.

If we’ve learned anything from this story, it’s that real magic is made when free Taco Bell is offered. Should the couple win, they’ll get an all-expenses paid wedding at the more upscale Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas. I’ve been, and it’s a terrific venue. They have wooden pull-tabs on the soda fountains, it’s all very nice.
