They aren’t inexpensive but the String Lights I bought at the beginning of summer have already paid for themself. No mosquitos on my patio when the Tiki Brand Bitefighter is turned on. The company says the lights will cover an area of up to 330 square feet with mosquito protection. The repellant is odorless and you can turn the repellant pods off if only the lighting is wanted. If you look closely, when the pods are turned on you will see a slight mist. The glass of the LEDs is shatter resistant. That claim was tested in a recent storm as one end of the string lights became detached (my fault) and they fell to my concrete patio. None broke.
