With just a few days left in 2016 I am going to wrap up the real estate year with a sales recap of homes (listed in the Greater Alexandria Area Association of REALTORS MLS) located in Alexandria, Brandon, Carlos, Evansville, Garfield, Glenwood, Holmes City, Kensington, Lowry, Millervile, Miltona, Osakis, Parkers Prairie and Starbuck by price range.

These cities were chosen as it pretty much covers the areas of Douglas, Pope and Todd Counties that are the market I work and that the visitors of this site are likely interested in. I do a recap of Lake home sales and new listings (non-association properties) with my weekly lake home newsletter (sign up at the bottom of any page of this site if you are interested) but with this recap I am going to include all homes (lake homes, lake cabins, lake cottages, residential homes and homes in associations (condos, townhomes and coops) at a lake or not.

Today, homes that sold for $500,000 or higher are the focus. Before the end of the year I will try to do the same with the $400,000 to $500,000 and $300,000 to $400,000 price ranges. But, it might not happen after $400,000 to $500,000 as there are quite a few home sales under $400,000 and I have other commitments that will keep me from sitting in front of a computer for a couple hours. As of today, in the $200,000 to $300,000 price range there are 186 closed transactions and 100 homes that sold in the $300,000 to $400,000 range.
