A Touching moment on the convention floor

We were at the Rock Hall when the call came in that we had to get back to Quicken Loans Arena for the vote right at 5:30. It turns out there was no rush, and after standing in line for half an hour and spending 10 minutes at the Rock Hall, we had to leave.

Never having been to a convention before, I was surprised when New York did not vote. I thought that was strange because that is where Donald Trump is from, but when I saw how it turned out and that New York was the one to put him over the top, wholesale nfl jerseys it was a very touching moment. I can imagine what it would be like to be able to cast votes that made your own father the Republican candidate for president. What a great moment and, as you probably saw, there was a big celebration before the roll call continued.

My friend Sally loaned me her credentials so that I could get on the floor for a few minutes. That was a very special time, even though I did not get to vote. We took a lot of pictures at the Ohio sign.

I was so tired that I just had to leave. We walked out of The Q at 9:30 and stopped at Pickwick Frolic for a few minutes for a quick dinner.

Normally we take the GOP Express everywhere, but it was not available yet. So we got one on of the bicycle Cars and rode back to the hotel the scenic way. It was really strange but a lot of fun. We had to wait at a light in the middle of the street while New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie motorcade went through to Burke Lakefront Airport.
