Auto-Ordnance rolls out another new custom carbine, introducing the Airborne M1 Carbine that honors airborne soldiers of WWII.

Featuring an 18-inch barrel married to a walnut folding stock and wood handguard, the Airborne M1 Carbine pays homage to WWII airborne warriors with its authentic reproduction of the original folding stock. The carbine uses a blade front sight and slip-style rear sight. Chambered in .30 Carbine, the carbine also delivers a battle worn American flag engraved into the forearm while “St. Michael pray for us” sits adjacent.

Saint Michael is a patron saint that many “heroic professions” choose as their guardian. Among these are the paratroopers who bravely stepped into the unknown on every jump.

“These brave members of America’s elite airborne units step into the unknown with every jump. Each time not knowing what enemy lays below or even if they will make it to the ground and the battle that awaits,” the company said in a press release. “Kahr Firearms Group pays tribute to the brave airborne warriors of WWII, with this custom laser engraved version of our paratrooper M1 Carbine.”

“This WWII commemorative continues the Auto-Ordnance tradition of providing high quality reproductions of American military firearms for today’s shooter,” Kahr Firearms Group added.

The Airborne M1 Carbine enters the collector’s market with a MSRP of $1,518. The rifle comes with a 15-round magazine and can be ordered through local firearms dealers.
