Planter’s Pointe Has Homes For Sale in Mount Pleasant, SC

Established in 1997 in Mount Pleasant, Planter’s Pointe offers a convenient location, plenty of neighborhood amenities and a touch of history.

The Planter’s Pointe neighborhood is located off Long Pointe Road, one of the main arteries into the heart of Mount Pleasant, a much sought after borough of the Charleston area. Residents of Mount Pleasant enjoy all the shopping, relaxed traffic and a quality school system typical of most suburbs, but with incredible convenience to both Historic Downtown Charleston and the nearby beaches at Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island.

The Planter’s Pointe neighborhood in Mount Pleasant is nestled against the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site, which preserves the story of the South Carolina man who was one of the principal signers of the U.S. Constitution. As was typical of the time, most of the country’s economy was based in agriculture. Pinckney’s Snee Farm was a hallmark location of agriculture during young America, and now serves as a learning tool for local residents, visitors and school field trips.
