End of Year Christmas Team Events

Tags: christmas

Every year at this time, we like to give you all a nudge just before December. Because every year as soon as we get into December, there is last-minute panic from clients regarding their end-of-year events. Often, there are the very last meetings, the Christmas party or a conference that need a unique Christmas touch adding.

It can be stressful trying to maintain your regular role while, on top, being tasked to create a company Christmas spectacular team event.

So, for all your event organisers out there, we offer you some team solutions that you can easily put in place so you know that, at least, that bit is done.

We have specially created, for this time of year, some events that fit perfectly into almost any agenda.

Let’s not forget the overall objective of having one of these events. You want your people to have a great time, make some lasting memories with their colleagues and feel valued as part of the company. There is much more to be gained in choosing one of these hilarious activities than spending that extra time in the bar. That is exactly the feedback we get each year from clients. Doing something more cohesive and productive than the usual, makes for a more positive company event. There is definitely something special about finishing the year off with a team activity that really encapsulates and celebrates all the hard work and effort put in throughout the year.

For your last meeting or conference, consider the following team activities.

Christmas Carole Chaos. Our expert West End vocal coaches create stunning festive harmonies to end the year in splendid voice. Your group, of literally any size, will learn to sing together a famous Christmas song, no matter the range of abilities. From a duration of 30 minutes up to two hours, the activity can expand or squeeze into whatever time slot you have. Lots of laughs are guaranteed and it will sound fantastic.

Drumming always creates a powerful message to end the year on. Your united rhythm orchestra can even add Santa hats and sleigh bells to flavour the pulsating beat that everyone has created. This really has the sonic wow factor to end any meeting.

We have a brand new event, called Animate. Participants get to write, design and produce their own ‘Wallace and Gromit’ style short movie. Using modelling clay and easy-to-use iPads, each team has to collaborate closely to complete this absorbing challenge. This can easily have a Christmas theme. The videos are edited and played later over dinner in a company movie premiere.

The Big Picture. Why not design a huge company Christmas card? Each team or table can be given their own canvas to decorate and make special, with an overall objective of combining efforts to make one large collaborative masterpiece.

For the more refined private dinning Christmas dinner, we offer Antiques Auction. We set up a classy fake auction as a table-to-table profit-making competition. This all happens in short bursts in between courses. It provides interactive fun but still leaves plenty of time for your normal celebrations.

For the main Christmas party itself, consider Crashing Waiters, which is perfect to get your party started with a percussive bang. Everyone is involved when our undercover waiters turn you all into a kitchen utensil orchestra! You’ll have non-stop fun and surprises in between mains and dessert.

Secret Singing Santa. Father Christmas has many talents up his sleeve. Like the fact he is an amazing undercover vocalist about to transition you from end-of-meal coffee time into extreme party time! He will have the room joining in favourite smash Christmas hits and will leave everyone in the room on their feet, ready to dance.

Just like all our through-the-year team building activities, we understand the need to create an impact and then leave with no fuss, so that your festivities can carry on uninterrupted. That is why our team activities are so popular at Christmas corporate events.
