Enable or Disable Computer Wake with keyboard or mouse, winodws 7, windows 8 and windows 19

If you've confirmed that Mouse or Keyboard actions do not Wake a computer from standby, you can enable them to do so.



Open the Windows Control panel, and then open either the Mouse or Keyboard On the Hardware tab in the Properties dialog box that appears, click Properties
 On the Power Management Tab, select Allow this device to wake the computer.If a Power Management tab does not appear in the Mouse or Keyboard Properties dialog box, the device might not support waking from sleep or standby. To support this action, you might need to upgrade the driver or the device
