The Government of Canada has launched the Canada Digital Adoption Program that allows eligible small to medium-sized Business enterprises and businesses to receive funds that will cover up to 90% of eligible costs for up to $15,000 to digitize their business. Businesses can be eligible via one of two streams and take part in this initiative through e-commerce implementations, digital marketing, investing in digital platforms and technologies to generate more business, and improving business operations for more profit and efficiency by making digital investments for your business.

CDAP aims to help small to medium-sized businesses digitize and focus their operations and business targets online for a better online presence to attract more business by better serving their customers via means of digital expansion. This includes but is not limited to implementing e-commerce options such as selling online or online booking, digitizing inventory control, search engine optimization (SEO), customer relationship management, social media marketing, and more!

How can you sign up and take your business to the next level?

1) Go to Canada Digital Adoption Program— Grant assessment tool – Canada Digital Adoption Program (ic.gc.ca) and fill out the eligibility too

2) Determine which stream you qualify for

3) Contact Nirvana Canada for creating your tailored digital adoption plan of strategy as per your business’s needs

4) Submit your digital plan to CDAP for grant approval and release of funds

5) Become digitized!

STREAM 1: The Grow Your Business Online Grant of $2400

Business owners can apply and get access to e-commerce advisors to help their business organization go digital and benefit from the various e-commerce opportunities available to sell their products online, incorporate online booking, and more.

Your business is eligible for this grant if it meets the eligibility criteria as follows:

• Is a for-profit business enterprise
• Your business is incorporated or registered
• Your Business is consumer-facing
• Is accessible by customers or proves in-person services to customers
• Has at least one other employee other than the business owner
• Must be able to commit to working with and maintaining their digital adoption strategy for 6 months after participation in the program

STREAM 2: The Boost Your Business Technology Grant of $15,000

Businesses that have at least $500,000 of annual revenues in one of the previous three tax years can apply for this grant to digitize their business and operations via means of customer relationship management, digitizing inventory control, and much more.

Please note that only owners or directors are permitted to submit the application form and submission made by anyone other than these roles will be automatically rejected. Your business is eligible for this grant if it meets the eligibility criteria as follows:

• Is incorporated provincially or federally or is a Canadian resident sole proprietor
• Is a for-profit or privately owned business
• Has between 1 – 499 full-time equivalent employees
• Has at least $500,000 of annual revenues in one of the previous three tax years
