With so many electronic items coming into every home, it has become very difficult to arrange the wires and cables so that they do not create a mess in your house or office. It is important to keep these wires and cables untangled and neat. If your house or office is filled with confusing cords, it can prove out to be a lengthy process and dangerous too. You can try the following tips to organize your electronic wires and cables:
- The first tip is to untangle the wires and cords so that you can know precisely what wire is of what device. You can do this either by disconnecting the wires or leave them connected. But it is recommended to switch off the plugs before doing this to avoid any risks of getting an electric shock.
- Now that you very clearly know what wires is used for what purpose, it is significant to estimate their importance. By this process you will know which wires or cables are useless and you can throw them away. This will reduce your burden automatically.
- After this you can now take steps to avoid further tangling in the future. You can do this by labeling your wires according to their use and the device they are used for. You can use stickers and stick them on the wires. This is the best way to identify the wire’s purpose.
- Now that you have labeled these wires, you can now combine them together. Combine these wires according to the similarity of their use. For e.g. you can combine all the wires related to your PC. You can do this by using Velcro straps, threads, etc.
- Now that these wires are neatly combined, it is time to dislocate them. Place them in an area where these are not visible like under the carpet or behind a cabinet. This will make your room look more spacious and neat.
