Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Arizona hit 73,908 Sunday, June 28, and nearly one-third of those cases — 21,515 — have come in the last seven days, according to data from the Arizona Department of Health Services. There were 3,858 new cases reported on Sunday, which is the biggest single-day increase in the number of new cases since the start of the pandemic. That marks the second straight day of record-setting increases and the third record!
