A New Engineer Joins The Growing Eitex Team

Eitex is pleased to welcome Steve Turner to our team. Steve is our new helpdesk manager and 3rd line engineer. He brings with him a wealth of experience that covers a wide range of Microsoft products and services.

His Internet and Telecoms experience will expand our ability to ensure your IT systems operate at peak efficiency and, what’s more, stay on budget.

Deep Windows Knowledge Applied Across Diverse Industry Sectors

Steve comes to us from the respected West Yorkshire Playhouse. Steve was IT manager of the theatre. His overall responsibility was to keep their IT and Telecoms systems running smoothly.

This included delivering IT and helpdesk support, as well as implementing upgrade migrations to new Windows solutions as they became available. He also procured all the hardware and software needed for the systems.

Steve is an experienced and talented Managed IT and Support Services expert. His experience extends to analysing performance stats and implementing appropriate changes. Business management plays an important role here too. Steve is familiar with finding solutions that fall within budget, and can work with financial projections for IT and Telecoms services.

Cloud or Hybrid, Steve has you Covered

When we’re finding IT solutions for our clients, we recognise that not everyone is comfortable making an immediate transition to the cloud. It was important to us that any new member of the team is comfortable with both cloud and hybrid systems. Steve’s wealth of experience in creative problem solving allows him to source IT solutions that keep pace with modern technology. But equally, he’ll do it without presenting companies or their staff with too great a learning curve, or too steep a budget.

Steve has extensive knowledge of Windows and Microsoft. He’s a Microsoft Certified Product and Network specialist, with insight that leads him straight to the heart of individual or unique IT problems. If you’re considering upgrading or expanding your current IT system, Steve is your man. He’ll advise on:

• Migrating email services
• Working more efficiently with Office 365
• Implementing firewalls
• Putting into place backup and disaster recovery systems
