Still working from home…

Still making progress!

How has your #WFH (work from home) experience been going? Any success stories? My own success Stories stem from a long history of taking at least 2-3 days to work from home over the past few years.

  1. I always and I mean ALWAYS get up in the morning and prepare at the same time as if I was going in to my physical office. So that means get up, shower, dress, apply make-up and take time to do “something” with my hair.
  2. Then I make my coffee and sit outside for a bit thinking about what I want my day to look like. Putting the extra 15 minutes into thinking about the day does tend to give me a better outcome than if I just jump right in. And Since I am still getting up at the same time I would in the past, I have that extra 15 minutes.
  3. Depending on the day, I may take a 30 minute morning walk to add to my creativity or just do some morning stretches. That depends on which way the weather is in St. Louis (LOL!)

As long as your WFH experience is one that is productive, then that is all that is important. It’s important to remember that we are all dealing with a pandemic on top of some very trying days in our country and all over the globe. Not to mention the regular hustle and bustle of a household! (If you have children, then God Bless You! That just makes the entire pandemic, WFH situation ten million times more….interesting). If you’ve got some cool tips and techniques you’ve found that have made you a SUPERSTAR during these trying times, please do share them!
