This project entailed creating a true-scale version of the owners Morgan 384 including her custom features such as wooden storage boxes, wind-turbine, life-raft etc. An image of the resulting Model, complete with sails and rigging is shown below.

This particular boat, the Morgan 384 came with a lot of teak trim, care was taken to replicate the trim and most other features as faithfully as possible at scale. If a detail is too small to 'look good', I generally omit the detail. I'd rather create a 'clean' good looking model than to foul things up with minuscule distracting detail. Having said all that, some of the detail that does go on is pretty small.
The rigging, masts and other details such as the anchor and stanchions were created, metal being used for many of those items. Again, no plastics! The final result is shown below, just before shipping to the client!
