Since the media has a tendency to focus on doom and gloom, I’d like to start this month’s report by saying that my 3rd quarter of 2023 was a pleasantly busy one, selling 43530 Illinois Avenue in Palm Desert (with multiple offers) a waterfront home in Larkspur, and soon-to-be-closing 42475 Kansas Street in Palm Desert(also with multiple offers).

The table below shows the detached home sales for select cities in Coachella Valley for the month of December 2023.
The final sales prices for these seven cities ranged from a low of $325,000 at 72694 Skyward Way in Palm Desert, to a high of $5,600,000 for 148 Tamit Place also in Palm Desert.
