Starc achieved this feat while playing against Zimbabwe at Townsville. After having made his debut in 2010, Starc required only 102 matches to achieve this feat, surpassing Saqlain Mushtaq, who required two more matches than Starc.

Saqlain Mushtaq
Pakistani bowler Saqlain Mushtaq made his debut in 1995 in One Day Internationals (ODIs). In nearly four years, Mushtaq was able to hit the 200-wicket mark in just 104 matches. Mushtaq was playing against South Africa at Nottingham where he picked the wicket of Jacques Kallis. The Pakistani bowler is currently the second-fastest bowler to reach 200 wickets in ODIs.
