Rahul Dravid the current head coach of the Indian team was born on January 11, 1973, and is a former legendary batsman of India. Arguably the best batsman in India against pace, Rahul had the best technique to play in any condition. The Wall as Rahul Dravid is popularly known used to just bat and bat for long periods of time to save and win many test matches for India. 10. VVS LAXMAN

Very very special Laxman the popular Indian batsman was born on November 1, 1974, in Hyderabad. He played 134 Tests and 86 ODIs for India between 1996 to 2012. He scored more than 11,000 international runs with 23 centuries in all. His record against Australia, the number one team of the 2000s was immaculate scoring the bulk of his runs against the Aussies. Laxman’s 281 at Eden Gardens in 2001 against Australia is even rated as the best test innings in the last 50 years.
