Ethiopia: Safaricom stood out as the fastest mobile operator in Ethiopia during Q2 2023 with a median download speed of 35.19 Mbps. Safaricom also achieved the lowest median mobile multi-server latency at 42 ms and the highest Consistency rate of 89.4%. Among Ethiopia’s most populous cities, Gondar recorded the fastest median mobile download speed at 61.22 Mbps.

Tanzania: Q2 2023 did not have any clear winners for the fastest mobile or fixed broadband in Tanzania. However, Maisha Broadband achieved the lowest median multi-server latency in the country at 14 ms. In terms of cities, Dar es Salaam had the fastest median mobile download speed at 26.33 Mbps, while Mbeya led in the median fixed download speed category with 21.32 Mbps.

Argentina: During Q2 2023, Personal was the top-performing mobile operator in Argentina with the fastest median download speed at 35.05 Mbps and the lowest mobile multi-server latency at 38 ms. In the fixed broadband market, Movistar took the lead with the fastest median download speed of 98.37 Mbps and the lowest multi-server latency at 12 ms. Buenos Aires had the fastest download speeds across both mobile and fixed broadband networks among Argentina’s most populous cities.

Belize: Q2 2023 saw Digi as the fastest mobile operator in Belize, achieving the highest median download and upload speeds of 17.61 Mbps and 9.88 Mbps, respectively. Colombia: Movistar was the fastest fixed broadband provider in Colombia during Q2 2023, with a median download speed of 161.28 Mbps. ETB achieved the lowest median multi-server latency over fixed broadband at 8 ms. Cartagena recorded the fastest median fixed download speed among Colombia’s most populous cities, reaching 109.01 Mbps.

Costa Rica: Claro dominated the mobile operator segment in Costa Rica during Q2 2023, with the fastest median download and upload speeds at 51.88 Mbps and 12.56 Mbps, respectively. Liberty achieved the lowest mobile multi-server latency at 34 ms and the highest Consistency rate of 79.7%. Guyana: ENet emerged as the top-performing operator in Guyana during Q2 2023, achieving a median mobile download and upload speed of 67.58 Mbps and 20.92 Mbps, respectively. For fixed broadband, ENet also led the way with a median download and upload speed of 62.40 Mbps and 39.66 Mbps, respectively. ENet achieved the lowest median multi-server latency across both mobile and fixed networks.

Haiti: Digicel dominated the mobile operator segment in Haiti during Q2 2023, recording a median mobile download speed of 10.53 Mbps and a median upload speed of 6.99 Mbps. SpaceX Starlink outperformed other providers in the fixed broadband market with the fastest median download speed of 60.24 Mbps. Among top device manufacturers, Apple devices led with the fastest median download speed at 29.68 Mbps.
