NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman telescope is set to be launched in 2027 and will enable astronomers to rewind the universe and gain an understanding of its evolution like never before. The telescope will be able to capture images of even the faintest and oldest objects in space and will help scientists in exploring dark energy, dark matter, and the formation of galaxies. The telescope is named after NASA’s first chief astronomer, Nancy Grace Roman who played an instrumental role in the development of the Hubble telescope.
