Direct recruitment will be done for 51,699 constable posts as well as 2,469 sub inspector (SI) posts in UP Police. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will soon release the Constable and SI Recruitment Notifications and start the application process.

In addition, the recruitment process has started for 2,430 posts of Head Operator, Assistant Operator, and Workshop Staff in Radio Cadre, 545 posts in Clerical Cadre, 872 posts of Grade A of Computer Operator, and 55 posts of Computer Programmer. In addition, the recruitment process for sportspersons has been initiated for 2,833 posts of jail warders and 521 posts for constables and equivalent posts in civil police.

In UP Police SI Recruitment, Graduate youth from any stream will be able to apply. The age limit for eligibility will be from 21 to 28 years. Reserved categories will be given relaxation in maximum age. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and physical efficiency test. Candidates successful in the written test will be called for Physical Efficiency Test.

Lakhs of youth of the state are waiting for the application process of UP Police Constable Recruitment. This recruitment was released a year ago, on 7 January 2022, by the UP Police Recruitment Board for Constable and Fireman posts. This time, the UP Police Recruitment Board may allow candidates in the age group of 18 to 22 years to participate in the Constable Recruitment.

Candidates are advised to complete their exam preparation as UP Police Constable Recruitment exam paper will be online and will have to be filled offline on OMR sheet. This exam will not be Computer Mode (CBT). The questions will be objective type and are to be filled in the circles on the OMR sheet. After the conduct of the examination, the duration and modus operandi of the examination will be discussed by the conducting institute.

In the exam, questions will be asked from the subjects General Knowledge, General Hindi, Science, Numerical, Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude/IQ and Reasoning Ability, which will be objective type. The written test will be conducted in CCTV mode and there will be video coverage of the same.
