Udyam Aadhar Registration & Verification Process

Udyam Aadhar Registration is a single-page enrolment that includes a self-declaration under which MSME will self-declare its details of the proprietor’s aadhar data and other required information. The registration is free of cost and no charge is taken by the ministry. 

The Udyam registration is an updated version of the Udyog Aadhar registration. The introduction of ease of doing business in India with effect from 1st July 2020 launched the new definition of MSME and permanent registration to be known as ‘Udyam registration’.

Any person who intends to establish a micro, small or medium enterprise may file registration on Udyam online in the registration portal. 

What is the process of Udyam Aadhar registration?

Udyam Registration is permanent registration for MSMEs. The applicant can only register themselves with their respective Aadhar card and PAN for Self- a declaration basis. The step-to-step process for Udyam Registration Online is as follows: 

Step 1: Visit the Udyam registration.gov.in

Click on the option for entrepreneurs who are ‘new and not yet registered’ with Micro, Small, and medium enterprises. 

Step 2. Enter your details

Enter the name of the entrepreneur as well as your twelve-digit Aadhar number. After that, you can click “Validate & Generate OTP.” Then, you will receive an OTP to the mobile number associated with the Aadhar. Enter this OTP.

Step 3: Verification of PAN for Udyam Aadhar registration

It is compulsory to select the type of firm/business before entering the PAN number, then click the confirm button. The PAN validation is a must for Udyam registration.

Step 4: Enter the Enterprise Address Details

When you enter all the details, then you also need to enter the full postal address of your enterprise along with the pin code, state, email address, and mobile number.

Step 5: Enter your bank details

You must mention the company’s bank account number which you are using along with an IFSC code of the branch office at which the account was opened initially. 

Step 6: Details of the Enterprise for Udyam Aadhar registration

Enter the primary activity of the enterprise, whether it is ‘manufacturing’ or ‘services.’ Also, provide all the names of the employees. Enter the NIC code for the activities which are carried out by MSME. Afterward, you need to enter the full amount invested into the machine or plant, or equipment.

Step 7: Enter the DIC i.e., District Industry Centre, and then approve the declaration

Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number then click on the “Final Submit” option. After that, in the ‘Submit and Get Final OTP’ option, you will receive a Udyam registration number. 

Once all information has been thoroughly verified by the relevant authorities, the user will receive an Udyam certificate that is sent to the registered email ID. 

What is the difference between Udyam and Udyog Aadhar?

Step 1: Visit the Udyam registration portal

Step 2: Enter your 19-digit udyam certificate registration number

Step 3: Enter the One-Time Password. You must receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. The OTP is case-sensitive.

Step 4: VerificationEnter the CAPTCHA provided on the page. The numbers and letters are case-sensitive. 

Step 5: Select the ‘verify’ option and enter the CAPTCHA given along with the OTP received.

What are the steps to Download Udyam Certificate?

The Udyam registration number is allotted to the enterprise. The certificate is also sent to the email ID of the user. You can also download the Registration certificate with the help of the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the Udyam portal

Step 2: Click the ‘Print/verify’ option and select the ‘Print certificate Udyam Aadhar registration’ option.

Step 3: Enter the ‘Udyam Registration Number.’

Step 4: Choose the OTP option for receiving OTP i.e., Mobile number or email ID.

Step 5: Click on the ‘Validate & Generate OTP’ option.

Step 6: Enter the OTP received on the email/mobile and then click on the ‘Validate OTP and login’ option.

Step 7: After login, Udyam registration certificate download.

You can take a print of the Udyam registration certificate by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the Udyam Registration Print

Step 2: Click the ‘Print/verify’ button and select the ‘Udyam Print certificate’.

Step 4: Choose the option of receiving OTP: Mobile number or email ID.

Step 7: Once you log in, Udyam Certificate Print.
