The top 50 clubs in world football have been named and ranked, Man United failed to make top 20

Manchester United failed to secure a place in the top 20 clubs in world football right now, despite climbing up one spot in the rankings.

The Red Devils have not lifted the Premier League title since legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

United have chopped and changed managers since Ferguson’s departure in a bid to climb back to the top of England’s top-flight league.

David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have all been shown the door at United, with Erik ten Hag now in the Old Trafford hotseat.

FiveThirtyEight released the latest update for its worldwide rankings for clubs, with 643 international teams compared using its Soccer Power Index (SPI).

Man United climbed up one place in the table to 22nd, with the Premier League club receiving an SPI score of 76.4.

Posted below are the 50 best teams in world football right now, according to FiveThirtyEight.
