According to the blog Wedding Pro, nearly one in four wedding proposers feel pressure to plan something unique. About one in three engagements take place on a planned trip (up 7% from last year) and one in five proposers are enlisting the assistance of professional vendors to help them plan or photograph the proposal (up 8% since 2019). In addition, couples are extremely likely to publicly share the details of their engagement on social media (90% of couples) with 78% making the announcement on Instagram and 77% on Facebook.
